Translating a print campaign to video

Clip: The selection is the first section of the video, I chose it because it articulates the campaign through unique stories of MultiCare's employees.

Storytelling Challenge: My task was to come up with an engaging way to turn a print campaign, into a motivating multimedia campaign to attract people to work for MultiCare Health System in Southwest Washington.
Process: I met with the client and went over the print collateral. Simply taking the “flip-book” idea would be gimmicky and not enough to hold the audience’s attention for 6 minutes. I decided on using an intertwining the employees in their recreational clothes, with the images and interviews of the same employees dressed in their work uniform. I discussed with the client what positions they would like to highlight in the video. I chose employees that reflected those positions and that were also dynamic, articulate, and photogenic., and interviewed them candidly on why they work for the organization. I then organized the video into sections that went along with the print campaign.
Outcome: The video is being distrubuted to potential candidates,and is being shown at several employee appreciation events.
